1/19/2024: Apple Vision Pro is Available for Pre-Order

Apple Vision Pro is available for pre-order as of this morning. I just watched the demo video as shown above. It looks like I can use the headset with my MacBook. Namely, I can type on my laptop keyboard and have a ginormous screen (or ginormous screens?). I am tempted but the Vision Pro is very expensive.  It appears that people can make appointments to try out the device at the Apple Store starting Feb 2nd. I definitely want to try it out first and see if this is gonna be a device I would use daily before shelling out $3499 plus tax. Last time I used the Meta Quest 2 I got dizzy and fell on the floor. Since then, the Quest 2 has been sitting on a shelf collecting dust.  I hope this would not happen to me with the Vision Pro. I will report back the results once I try it out.
